Former Fatty Lost Weight

Diet Tip #2 from the family

Another way I feel I helped Rebecca in her quest to for weight loss, was to taste all the foods she was eating. I was usually a bit hungry anyway, so the foods did taste good to me. I made sure to tell her, what I thought about the foods, unless I feedback wasn’t positive. Then I just acted like I thought it was good.

In my mind if I were to have lead on that I thought it tasted bad, I could have warped her thinking. I think it was hard enough for her to believe it was good. So I never told her I thought it was bad. I felt that kind of a statement could break her train of thought.

When she first started the diet, she would use what she called the “Shaky cup” to mix the drinks in. When I tried those I did have some issues. She seemed ok with it, but I think she was just dedicated to loosing that weight. The powder drink with the water, shaken in the shaky cup, just didn’t do a very good job. The drinks would have small chunks that didn’t mix.

So Rebecca looked into it and found a great solution to the unmixed mixed drink problem. We went to the store and bought one of those silver bullet blenders. This is a hand held, electrically operated, in the cup blender. It was perfect for mixing the drinks, puddings, mochas, etc. This little gadget I think made the diet food much much better. The frozen drinks were frothed with shredded ice, the puddings were whipped, the drinks were perfect.

So between supporting Rebecca by reassuring her the food tasted good, and buying the right blender, I again aided on her journey to success.
